Meet the Mentor: Somnath Sarkar 

This workshop will be led by Somnath Sarkar, a renowned printmaker and multidisciplinary artist with extensive experience in the field. Somnath holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bengal Fine Arts College (2017) and a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (2020). His work has been exhibited at prestigious shows like the 63rd National Exhibition of Art (2023) and the Tirana International Graphics Biennale (2022). He has also been awarded the LKK Award of Photography (2022) and completed an art residency at Dot Line Foundation, Mumbai, in 2024. Somnath continues to share his knowledge through workshops across India and internationally.
